Police Looking for Three Men Involved in Home Invasion Near Skyline

The three men allegedly got away with money, jewelry and electronics but no one was injured.

Fairfax County Police are looking for three men they say robbed two men in an Alexandria home Wednesday morning near the Skyline Mall. According to a press release, a 24-year-old Maryland man was awaken by three men – two of them armed with handguns – around 2 a.m. Wednesday who demanded money. An undisclosed amount of money was taken along with some jewelry and electronics. Police did not say in the release how the men gained entrance into the home. The two men inside the home in the 3700 block of North Rosser Street, the second a 45-year-old man, were not injured. Police don’t believe the incident was a random crime. Police: Missing 5-Year-Old Boy Seen in Alabama

Police have issued a felony warrant for Rebecca Serafin, who allegedly fled the state with her son.

Fairfax County police said they have confirmed a sighting of Rebecca and Cameron Serafin at an airport in Birmingham, Ala. Investigators have been looking for the Fairfax County mother and her 5-year-old son since last week, when Rebecca Serafin did not return the boy to his father's home as scheduled. The boy's photo was disseminated throughout the greater Washington area. As a result of the confirmed sighting in Alabama, which happened Friday, police have obatined a warrant charging Rebecca Serafin with felony parental abduction, accoring to a news release. Fairfax Police Searching for Missing 5-Year-Old Boy

Cameron Serafin, 5, was supposed to be returned to his father on Sunday; authorities have issued a warrant for his mother.

Five-year-old Cameron Serafin was supposed to return Sunday to his father in Great Falls. But he never came home, say Fairfax County police, who asked for the public's help Thursday in finding the missing child. According to police, Cameron is believed to be with his mother, Rebecca Serafin, 32. Serafin was supposed to return the child to his father on Sunday. A warrant has been issued for Serafin’s arrest on charges of custodial interference, a misdemeanor, police said. Detectives say they have reason to be concerned about the boy's welfare.
