Police Looking for Three Men Involved in Home Invasion Near Skyline

The three men allegedly got away with money, jewelry and electronics but no one was injured.

Fairfax County Police are looking for three men they say robbed two men in an Alexandria home Wednesday morning near the Skyline Mall. According to a press release, a 24-year-old Maryland man was awaken by three men – two of them armed with handguns – around 2 a.m. Wednesday who demanded money. An undisclosed amount of money was taken along with some jewelry and electronics. Police did not say in the release how the men gained entrance into the home. The two men inside the home in the 3700 block of North Rosser Street, the second a 45-year-old man, were not injured. Police don’t believe the incident was a random crime. The three men were all described as black, between 25 and 30-years-old and ranged from 5 feet 7 inches to 6 feet tall and …

Police Seek Help Identifying Robbery Suspects

Two male suspects allegedly involved with Oct. 30 robbery of Kenmore Avenue 7-Eleven.

The Alexandria Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects they believe were involved in the robbery last month of a 7-Eleven located at 4610 Kenmore Ave. At 3:17 a.m. Oct. 30, two suspects entered the business, police said. One of them jumped over the counter and grabbed the store’s clerk. The suspect displayed a handgun and held the clerk while the other suspect went for the cash register. The suspects then pushed the clerk to the ground and ran out of the store. The clerk was not seriously injured, according to the police. One suspect is described as a dark-skinned black man standing between 5-foot-9 and 5-foot-11 and weighing 160 to 180 pounds. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled …
