Original Post - 6:51 p.m. Sunday.

The Washington Redskins were taking to the field Sunday hoping to finish their day by packing for a trip to Atlanta to play the Falcons next week.

The Redskins were entering the game knowing that with a victory over the Seattle Seahawks, they’ll play the Atlanta Falcons at the Georgia Dome in the next round of the NFL playoffs. A victory there would pit them against either Green Bay or the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game.

The Packers defeated the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday, 24-10. Houston defeated the Bengals, 19-13.

The Redskins were scheduled to play at 4:30 against Seattle on FOX, following the 1 p.m. Baltimore Ravens v. Indianapolis Colts game, also televised by FOX.

Sunday afternoon, the Baltimore Ravens beat the the Indianapolis Colts 24-9 and will play the Denver Broncos next.
