Former Redskins Linebacker Arrington to Visit T.C. Williams
The Saturday event is part of a Back to Sports wellness program at T.C. Williams High School.
Former Washington Redskins linebacker LaVar Arrington on Saturday will participate in a Back to Sports program open to all students of Alexandria City Public Schools and their families.
The youth wellness event, sponsored by the National Football League and the National PTA and hosted by T.C. Williams PTSA, will take place from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at T.C. Williams on King Street following the varsity football game that starts at 1 p.m.
The event will include stations spotlighting issues such as proper nutrition during athletic activities, hydration tips and concussion symptoms.
