Bishop Ireton High School Choir to Perform in Cherry Blossom Parade
Parade is set for Saturday, April 12 in DC.
The Bishop Ireton High School Men's and Women’s Choirs will perform with the National Youth Choir on Saturday, April 12 for the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade in Washington, D.C.
The youth choir is made up of approximately 775 students from across the country. They will be standing on the steps of The National Archives, from where the parade is being telecast.
They will then march in the parade. The students will be singing and dancing to the songs “Dancing in the Streets” and “Shout!”
Peak bloom for the famed cherry blossoms, according to the National Park Service, is April 8-12.
