Travel to the Inauguration in Style by Water Taxi
For the 2013 presidential inauguration, the Potomac Riverboat Company is offering round trips between Alexandria and Washington, DC.

People interested in taking in the Inauguration Day festivities can take the Inaugural Water Taxi from Alexandria to Washington Jan. 21.
The Potomac Riverboat taxi service will depart from the Alexandria City Marina at the base of Cameron Street on the hour from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. It will depart hourly from Washington’s Gangplank Marina at 600 Water Street SW, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Tickets are $30 roundtrip per person and reservations are required. It takes about 45 minutes each way. For more information, see the Potomac Riverboat website.
