DASH Bus to Run Saturday Schedule for Presidential Inauguration

The Alexandria Transit Company will offer modified service on Monday, Jan. 21, which is both Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and the second inauguration of President Barack Obama.

On Monday, Jan. 21 DASH (Alexandria Transit Company) will operate on a Saturday schedule.

Monday is both Martin Luther King Jr. holiday and the 2013 Presidential Inauguration of Barack Obama.

The King Street Trolley will operate on a regular schedule that day, DASH has announced. The free trolley runs from 11:30 a.m. to 10:15 p.m. between the King Street Metro Station and the Alexandria waterfront.

Metro (rail and bus) will run on a special schedule, operating rush-hour service (but no Rush Plus) service on Jan. 21.

There will be a special Inaugural Water Taxi running from Alexandria to D.C.
