Christmas Tree Recycling Starts Monday in Alexandria
Remember to put your tree out with your garbage between Jan. 7 and Jan. 18.
Your Christmas tree can come back as mulch this spring, if you remember to put your Christmas tree out at the curb between Monday, Jan. 7 and Friday, Jan. 18.
The city asks that residents remove tree stands, lights and decorations from the tree before placing it at the curb. Trees should not be placed in a bag of any sort.
