Police Release Video of Robbery Suspect

Alexandria police are asking for the public's help in identifying the man.

Alexandria police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed Dunkin’ Donuts, located at 4653 Duke St., at 11:15 a.m. Thursday.

The man entered the business, displayed a handgun and demanded an employee open the cash register. The employee complied, and the robber took an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the store, according to police.

He was last seen in a small blue vehicle heading westbound on Duke Street.  The victim was not injured.

The suspect is described as a black male in his mid-20s; 5 feet, 10 inches to 5 feet, 11 inches tall; with a thin build.  He had short hair and was wearing khaki pants and a white plaid shirt.
