Fairfax Police Go Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness

Officers will wear pink through the end of the month.

Fairfax County Police will be going pink through October 31 as part of breast cancer awareness month.

Hundreds of officers and employees are wearing the shirts that read “Arrest Breast Cancer: Unlock the Cure.” Officers purchased the shirts for $15 each, with the proceeds going to local cancer charities.

The campaign is sponsored by Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 77, donations from Tysons Corner Center, and donations from Blue Line Motors of Warrenton.
