Exhibit: Blended Images: Photographic Studies in Light, Resolution and Perspective

ALEXANDRIA, VA, September 2014 – Convergence is proud to announce an exhibition of unique photography from blending together pictures and compositions to create unusual views beyond what is actually “seen” in the camera.  These images can stretch from one landscape to the next or even over time. Foster’s intricate process attempts to capture a full range of light and color using completely digital methods and thus providing the viewer a never before seen perspective.

About the Artist, Roger Foster -  Foster began creating photographic art images in 2011 after a long hiatus from photography. He first worked with digital imaging in his professional life as a radio astronomer. He soon discovered that he was able to combine his digital imaging experience with his artistic outlet to create fresh and innovative processes and products in photography. Foster’s work has been shown at Del Ray Artisans including the XXth Anniversary show in March 2012,  Process Photography at The Atheneum in March 2013, and the Revolution: Art & Technology in April 2014.
