Collection at the Van Dorn Safeway to benefit homeless and abused teens

Collection of toiletry items to benefit The Alternative House, a shelter for homeless and abused teens. Often, teens arrive at the home without basic necessities. The toiletry kits are given to the teens upon arrival to keep for their own personal needs. Individual items can be purchased at the Safeway and then donated, or simply brought to the store to drop off. Donations can be individual items listed below or entire kits. If donating a whole kit, each one should contain the following items and be in zip locked bags: 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, 1 small brush/comb, small shower gel/bar of soap, 1 toothbrush, 1 tube of toothpaste, dental floss, small stick of deodorant, 1 razor.
