Our Mission

The Fund for Alexandria's Child works to enhance the quality of life of foster children and children at risk of abuse and neglect by promoting community awareness, involvement and resource development.  We achieve our mission through providing to the children such activities as dance, art or karate lessons, summer camping, school field trips, scouting and team sports. Because of the generosity of our Alexandria neighbors, we can proudly say that we are a community "taking care of our own."

Your contributions mean that children will enjoy field trips, team sports, birthday gifts, Christmas gifts, summer camp, music lessons, and incentives and rewards. In short, they will share in experiences that enrich and normalize the lives of all our children. You can be assured that 100 percent of your contribution will go directly to foster and at-risk children. All donations are tax deductible in accordance with Federal law.
