What Should Replace Alexandria's Blockbuster?

In our 'Visions for Vacancies' series, we want to know what you would put into the Bradlee Shopping Center.

Like dozens of Blockbuster Video stores across Northern Virginia and the United States, the Blockbuster Video at Bradlee Shopping Center closed last year.

The now empty storefront is located between Chesapeake Bagel Bakery and the Potomac Paint & Design Co. on the east end of the shopping center. Crave and Rite Aid are also nearby.

On our Patch Facebook page last week, readers suggested a dry cleaner, a good Mexican restaurant, a Chic-fil-A, a children's indoor playspace or a bookstore.

The Bradlee Shopping Center is operated by Washington Real Estate Investment Trust (WRIT). A call to WRIT about the space was not returned.

What would make a good addition to the Bradlee Shopping Center? Tell us in the comments!
