Five Guys West End Location Closes

The Murrell family is looking for a new location in the area.

After 22 years, the Five Guys Burgers and Fries at 4626 King Street has closed. It was the company's second-oldest location and opened in 1991.

Five Guys has been renovating and upgrading older locations, but the relatively small size of the location made renovations impossible.

According to a message on the Five Guys website, “We are committed to opening another location within the Skyline, Bailey's Crossroads, Seven Corners area and are appreciative of all of the customers who have walked through these doors. Additionally, we are working with all of our employees to place them in position in other area locations.”

Five Guys is inviting customers to share their memories here of the King St./Beauregard St. location.

Five Guys started as a family-owned carry-out hamburger restaurant in Arlington in the 1980s. There are now more than 1,000 locations nationwide. The corporate headquarters are in Lorton.
