Snapshot Days Coming to Alexandria Libraries

Alexandria public libraries will be capturing the impact of the libraries on film for Snapshot Day.

Alexandria Library staff will be taking photos of its events, children's entertainment, computer classes, business owners doing research and more to showcase what one can expect on a typical day at its branches. Library staff will also be gathering quotes from patrons, which will be provided at our service desks and feature below.

Visitors are welcome to speak to staff to let them know what role Alexandria Library plays in their life and its importance in the community. Alexandria residents may Tweet comments and photos about their appreciation for Alexandria Library @alexlibraryva and include #snapshotdayAL. Results will be also posted on the library’s Facebook page and on http://snapshotvirginia.org.

Snapshot Day will come to Beatley Central Library on Saturday. The library branches have already help their snapshot days, according to a news release.
