Beatley Library Holds Annual Book Sale

Friends of Beatley Central Library is holding the group's popular book sale this weekend.

Bargain-hunting book lovers can head to Beatley Central Library this weekend to find deals on books, audiobooks, CDs, DVDs and children’s reading material.

The annual Friends of Beatley Central Library begins Thursday with a members preview sale from 4 to 8:30 p.m. Memberships are available at the door.

The sale will continue from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m Saturday and from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday. All sales benefit the Friends of Beatley Central Library.

Library spokeswoman Kimberly Nathaniel said this year’s sale features a great selection of material.

“The items are in fantastic condition,” she said. “Most are new or gently used. It’s a great sale for bargain-hunters.”

Nonfiction offerings include books on art, cookbooks, history, politics, travel, business, crafts and home and garden, she said. The sale attracted several thousand shoppers each year.
