Rachel Leonard, Editor, West End Alexandria Patch:
.. In looking through the pull-down menus for Home, News, Events, and Directory at the top of the Patch screen I have trouble in finding a place for transportation issues such as those presented by the recent Transportation Corridor “B” study and resulting recommendations.
.. At issue in the City is the practice of introducing temporary adjustments to compensate for current problems instead of developing plans for long term development. Short term compensations result in continuing political turmoil and consumes too much of the resident’s time.
.. Some Hash Tags for these issues:

Thanks Ronald. We'll look in to adding a transportation option.

Saturday, October 06, 2012 posting:
Beginning in October 2012, The Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities is undertaking a nine-month public outreach process to inform Management Framework Plans for the City's large multi-use Parks, including Holmes Run Park. The goal of this effort is to study and understand the existing conditions and future needs for each of the Parks. We want to know how you use the parks, what you like in the parks, and what you hope to see in each of these parks in the future.
