Citi® Road To Recovery for Military Northern Virginia Homeowner Assistance

Where:  Hilton Alexandria Mark Center, 5000 Seminary Road, Alexandria, VA 22311       

Key Information:      

• CitiMortgage, Housing Counseling Services, Inc, Washington DC, Spanish Housing and Community Services of Northern Virginia, Inc. will host a free homeowner assistance event for military members who are distressed homeowners. 

• Expert CitiMortgage homeowner support representatives and HUD approved housing counselors will consult one-on-one with military homeowners having difficulty making their mortgage payments or facing potential foreclosure to determine what solutions may be open to them.  Since 2007, Citi has helped more than 1.1 million homeowners in their efforts to avoid potential foreclosure and remain in their homes.

What to bring:

• Your list of questions
• Documents to support your hardship (Copies of medical documentation, divorce decree, unemployment verification, etc.)
• Pay stubs dated within the last 30 days, covering at least a 60-day (2-month) period for all borrowers
• Most recent personal checking, savings, money market, mutual funds, stock and bond statements all borrowers
• Proof of insurance and taxes, if not included in the mortgage payments
• Current property tax statement
• Your mortgage loan number 
• Full 2011 Tax Return (or 2010 with proof of approved extension) if you are self-employed, receive rental income, or are part of a partnership that requires a K-1 filing
• Self-employed homeowners must provide a year-to-date 
• If seeking assistance with your 2nd lien, please provide your 1st lien mortgage statement
