Fatal Crash on Southbound I-95 Tuesday Morning
Traffic backed up all the way into Alexandria from a crash on I-95 near the Fairfax County Parkway.
A fatal car accident on I-95 southbound near the Fairfax County Parkway Tuesday morning backed up traffic all the way to the Duke Street entrance to I-395 south this morning.
A mini-van driver died Tuesday morning at the scene of the crash after the van ran into the back of a three-axle truck, Virginia State Police reported.
A state police trooper was called to the crash scene at 6:44 a.m. Traffic was still moving slowly at 10 a.m. in the southbound direction.
Police are continuing to investigate the crash Tueday morning and are in the process of notifying relatives about the death of the minivan driver.

I saw the mini van that morning and was I'm the back up north bound. It was terrible, they had a white sheet covering the drivers side window, I guess the driver was still inside. My heart and prayers go out to the family
