Big Lots to Open in Alexandria
Broadline closeout store to open in former Best Buy location near Landmark Mall.

There is no official opening date set for Big Lots, which will be located at 5901 Stevenson Ave. near the intersection of S. Van Dorn St. and Duke St.
Best Buy closed last year—one of more than 50 Best Buy stores nationwide to close.
Big Lots calls itself “the nation's largest broadline closeout retailer.” The store sells clothes, housewares, furniture, electronics, toys, tools, auto supplies, groceries and other items. More information about the store is available at biglots.com.
Big Lots has nearly 1,500 stores and outlets nationwide. Nearby, the closest stores are in D.C. and in Fairfax, Herndon, Sterling, Dale City and Fredericksburg. The company, founded in the 1960s, is based in Columbus, Ohio.

I work for them and our soft opening is February 21,2013. Come on by and visit us. The grand opening is March 1! Look foward to seeing all of you. The store has an amazing array of things in it!
