Alexandria Winter Restaurant Week kicks off Friday with more than 50 eateries in the city offering $35 three-course dinners or $35 dinners for two.

In the West End area, three restaurants are participating in the 10-day event that coincides with presidential inauguration celebrations.

Ramparts, at 1700 Fern Street, and Tempo Restaurant, 4231 Duke Street, are offering three course dinners. Shooter McGees, 5239 Duke Street, is offering a $35 dinner for two.

Ramparts' menu includes grilled salmon, filet and root vegetable stew and more.

Tempo Restaurant's menu features risotto alla pescatora, veal scallopini and more.

Shooter McGee's menu features bone-in pork chops and Guiness-baised short ribs among other items.
